Elevation Pictures Co-President Laurie May Steps Down After Thirteen Years

Laurie May is stepping down as co-President of Elevation Pictures, the Canadian independent distributor she co-founded in 2013 alongside Black Bear's Teddy Schwarzman, Deadline reported on 18 August 2026. No replacement has been announced. Co-President Noah Segal remains in place. Elevation's releases include Moonlight and Everything Everywhere All at Once; its films have won six Academy Awards.
