No player in 150-plus years of major-league baseball had homered in each of his first three career at-bats. Joshua Báez, a 23-year-old left fielder called up from Triple-A Memphis the morning of August 15, 2026, did it at Wrigley Field — all three off Cubs starter Matthew Boyd — driving in five in St. Louis's 8-4 win over Chicago. The home runs traveled a combined 1,199 feet.
