
EU Greenlights Saudi Fund's $55 Billion Purchase of Game Maker EA
European regulators approved Saudi Arabia's government investment fund buying Electronic Arts, the company behind major video games, for $55 billion. They found no harm to competition in gaming. The fund would own over 93 percent of EA. Remaining hurdles: a separate EU review by July 30, a US national security check, and possible review by the US trade agency.
