
Two Key Shipping Routes Are Blocked, Putting Saudi Oil Exports at Risk
Yemen's Houthi fighters attacked two Saudi ships in the Red Sea and turned back ten more, blocking a narrow shipping lane near the Arabian Peninsula. Saudi Arabia had already rerouted its oil through a pipeline to avoid a separate blockade by Iran. Now the Houthis threaten the port where that pipeline delivers oil — trapping Saudi exports between two blocked waterways.
