Robots Overheat, Filmmaker Told — Human Clones Would Come First

A robotics expert told filmmaker Hirokazu Kore-eda, while helping with his sci-fi film "Sheep in the Box," that human clones would come before convincing humanoid robots. The problem is heat: the motors and electronics in a two-legged robot build up more heat than the robot's body can release, placing the film's child-sized robot premise beyond today's technology.
