Canva lowers growth forecast as AI costs rise

Canva now expects revenue to grow 20%, down from 30%, because AI costs have risen sharply. The company is building its own AI programs so it relies less on outside providers. Alongside this, it is cutting 22% of its staff, about 1,271 people, TechCrunch reported on 4 November 2026.
