Book Sales on Mercado Libre in Argentina Rose 23% in January to August 2026

Book sales in Argentina through Mercado Libre, the online marketplace, grew 23% between January and August 2026, reaching 3.2 million copies from 2.6 million a year earlier. Germán Echeverría, managing partner of self-publishing platform Editorial Autores de Argentina, drew the figures from monthly seller reports Mercado Libre makes available. Active book sellers rose 20% year on year.
