Samsung Posts KRW 107.4 Trillion Profit, Matching Its Own Forecast

Samsung Electronics said its third-quarter 2026 sales reached KRW 195.3 trillion (Korean won, South Korea's currency), up 14% from a year earlier. Its operating profit, money left after running costs but before interest and taxes, was KRW 107.4 trillion, roughly $80 billion, announced October 29. That matched the company's own forecast from October 8 of about KRW 107.40 trillion.
