Virgin Galactic's next paid space flight is now planned for early 2027, almost three years after its last in June 2024. The company retired its VSS Unity spaceplane after that flight. Its lead Delta-class ship, Apeiron, is expected to fly next. The delay comes from extra time needed to finish, connect and test the flight computer software.
