Russell Brand Testifies at His Rape Trial, Saying He Never Forced Himself on a Woman

Russell Brand, 51, gave evidence for the first time at his rape trial at Southwark Crown Court on 28 October 2026. He told jurors he had never forced himself on a woman, calling consent "non-negotiable". He has pleaded not guilty to seven charges, including three counts of rape. Six women accuse him of sexual assault between 1999 and 2009.
