Apple's Keynote, Pages and Numbers open up to outside AI helpers

Apple's Keynote, Pages and Numbers apps let outside AI helpers read, edit or create documents on Macs running macOS 27 or later. They connect through a shared standard, the Model Context Protocol (MCP), like a universal plug. This comes with Apple's Intelligent Assistant, in beta on compatible devices. Reporting so far does not say what permissions those helpers get.
