FIA proposes V8 turbo hybrid engines for 2030 or 2031

The FIA has sent its six engine manufacturers a proposal for V8 turbo hybrid power units to replace the current V6s, with introduction in either 2030 or 2031. The plan follows one-to-one talks with each manufacturer. The framework is said to be basically acceptable to all of them. It is still a proposal, not a finished rulebook.
