Microsoft Offers Payments to Up to 60,000 Staff to Leave

Microsoft is offering up to 60,000 employees in the US, UK, Canada and India payments to leave voluntarily. Eligible teams include AI, Copilot, Microsoft's AI helper, CoreAI, Windows and devices, Xbox, finance and HR. Marketing, commercial business, discovery and quantum, and security staff are excluded. Head of people Amy Coleman wrote: "The Voluntary Exit Offer is new for us."
