Torres Plans Law to Protect People Who Buy Video Games

Rep. Ritchie Torres (D-NY) announced October 15, 2026 he plans to introduce the Power to the Players Act to protect ownership of purchased video games. It would direct the FTC, the agency that protects shoppers, to set rules. The bill had not been introduced at announcement.
