Torres Plans Bill on Ownership of Purchased Video Games

Rep. Ritchie Torres (D-NY) announced October 15, 2026 he plans to introduce the Power to the Players Act to protect ownership of purchased video games. The proposal would direct the FTC, the federal consumer protection agency, to establish regulations. The bill had not been introduced at announcement.
