Resale sites sue D.C. to block 10% ticket resale cap

SeatGeek, Vivid Seats, TickPick and Gametime, with the Ticket Policy Forum as lead plaintiff, sued the District of Columbia on Oct. 14 in the US District Court for the District of Columbia. They seek a preliminary injunction to stop the RESALE Act, which caps concert and theatre resale from Jan. 1, 2027.
