Mont Blanc Is Slightly Shorter at 4,807.47 Metres

Mont Blanc measured 4,807.47 metres tall, about 1.29 metres shorter than last year, local surveyors in Haute-Savoie found. Satellites and drones mapped the snow blanket over solid rock about 4,792 metres high. It is still 3.43 metres below its 2007 peak. Surveyors say small ups and downs like this are normal, not a steady yearly drop.
