Netflix to Cut About 1,000 Jobs

Netflix said Oct. 14, 2026 it will let go about 1,000 workers, about 6 in every 100. It confirmed the cuts to TechCrunch after the Wall Street Journal first reported them, citing a staff note from its co-CEOs, Ted Sarandos and Greg Peters. Netflix had 16,000 full-time workers at the end of last year.
