Anthropic Gives Outside Researchers Staff-Level Access for Safety Review

Anthropic gave six outside researchers from METR employee-level access to independently review its AI models, safety practices and risk management. They received company laptops, office space and internal tools roughly equal to Anthropic's own risk teams, as described Oct. 15.
