Why 12 Senators Oppose Trump's Russian Diesel Deal

Twelve U.S. senators, six Democrats and six Republicans, wrote President Trump on Oct. 13 asking him to cancel his loosening of punishments on Russian diesel fuel sales abroad. They called it “a gift to our adversary and a betrayal of our Allies,” saying it gives money for Putin’s war while giving Americans little to no help.
