Labour pledges up to $50m a year for Elevate venture fund

Labour would put up to $50 million a year into the state-backed Elevate venture capital fund, finance and economy spokesperson Barbara Edmonds said. The party says it would back innovative Kiwi companies. Elevate, overseen by the NZ Super Fund, invests in local venture firms that fund early-stage businesses.
