Bipartisan Senators Urge Trump to Restore Russian Diesel Sanctions

Twelve senators — six Democrats and six Republicans — asked President Trump in an Oct. 13 letter to reverse his easing of sanctions, or penalties, on Russian diesel exports. They called the deal “a gift to our adversary and a betrayal of our Allies,” saying it helps fund Putin’s war while giving Americans little to no relief.
