Nearly 200 candidates with no party — like solo runners — are in more than 100 races for Congress in fall 2026, including 173 for the U.S. House, NPR reported Oct. 13, 2026. All 435 House areas and 33 Senate spots are up for vote Nov. 3, according to AP and Ballotpedia.
