Over 1,000 Immigrants Held Around Atlanta Since August

More than 1,000 immigrants have been held across the Atlanta area since August by ICE, the government agency that enforces immigration rules. The effort, called Operation Safe Community, included Buford Highway, Norcross and other parts of Gwinnett County. Its size will affect how locals see safety and trust.
