UK Leader Says Russia Tried to Sway Brexit Vote

Britain's Prime Minister Andy Burnham said Oct. 12 Russia tried to sway the 2016 Brexit vote on leaving the EU. He said voters were not sufficiently told how outsiders tried to meddle in UK democracy and he asked about it when becoming prime minister. Conservatives called him 'dangerous and divisive'; Liberal Democrat leader Ed Davey praised the disclosure.
