
ACT wants to cut disability payments by $653m
ACT says it would spend $653 million less on disability benefits over four years in its 'Cut the Waste, Grow the Country' money plan. Leader David Seymour said people seeking health or disability payments would need approval from a separate doctor, like a second opinion, to qualify. Other parties criticised the idea.
