Cloudflare Buys Software Startup Deno

Cloudflare is buying Deno, a startup that makes tools for running code. The deal, announced Oct 9, 2026, will improve Workers, its service that lets customers build and run software on Cloudflare's network. The price was not shared. Deno had raised $26 million, with its Series A, an early funding round, led by Sequoia.
