A camper trailer that pushes itself to save range

Pebble's $159,000 Flow camping trailer pushes its own wheels with two electric motors, a mode called Easy Tow, so it carries most of its own weight, like power-assisted wheels on a suitcase. Pebble says this cuts loss of driving range and energy use by more than half. Engadget tried it in a day-and-night campsite test published Oct. 9.
