Microsoft's $2,599 Laptop Runs Powerful AI Without the Internet

Microsoft unveiled its $2,599 Surface Laptop Ultra at its Oct. 7 Windows and Surface event. Using Nvidia RTX Spark chips, it can run powerful AI with over 120 billion parameters — like built-in knowledge switches — directly on the laptop, without needing the internet cloud. Preorders are open. Asus, Dell, HP, Lenovo and MSI offer laptops with the same chips.
