Trump Calls Nov. 5 Hearing for Bank Leader Cook Over Home Claims

President Donald Trump has created a Committee of Inquiry — an official review panel — into Lisa Cook, a leader at the Federal Reserve, America's central bank, over alleged false statements. The White House says it concerns home-loan claims about houses she listed as her main home. An in-person White House hearing is set for Nov. 5, 2026.
