Nobel Winner Led UN Team That Accused Israel of Trying to Destroy Palestinians in Gaza

Navi Pillay, who won the 2026 Nobel Peace Prize, led a UN fact-finding team on the Palestinian territories under Israeli control. The team said Israel carried out acts meant to destroy Palestinians in Gaza, and that Benjamin Netanyahu, Isaac Herzog and Yoav Gallant encouraged such acts. Israel refused to take part and called the report scandalous.
