
Flock Safety cuts 18% of staff during privacy debate
Flock Safety will cut 18% of its workforce, about 270 employees, through a Voluntary Separation Program across the company, with departures at end of October. Spokesperson Paris Lewbel said the program positions the company for its next phase of growth. The cuts come amid criticism of its 100,000-plus license-plate readers and people-tracking systems.
