Navi Pillay has won the 2026 Nobel Peace Prize, a top honor for work for peace. Norway’s prize committee announced it in Oslo on October 9, 2026. The former South African judge and former UN human rights leader was recognized for strengthening world laws to prevent mass atrocities. She was picked from 287 candidates.
