Birmingham's Harvey Nichols to Close, Costing 60 Jobs

Harvey Nichols in Birmingham will close in January, ending at least 60 jobs after 25 years. Owner Frasers Group, controlled by Mike Ashley, bought the luxury chain for £43m in mid-August when it had run out of money, saving about 1,000 of 1,200 jobs. The next test is whether its other shops can afford high rents and costs.
