Harvey Nichols Birmingham to Close After 25 Years

Frasers Group will close Harvey Nichols in Birmingham in January, cutting at least 60 jobs after 25 years. Frasers, controlled by Mike Ashley, bought the chain for £43m out of administration — a bankruptcy process — in mid-August, saving about 1,000 of 1,200 jobs. The question now is if other store leases can handle high luxury costs.
