
Richest families save most from Ottawa's fuel tax break
The richest fifth of families will save about $468 on average from Ottawa's temporary break on fuel tax, Parliament's budget watchdog Annette Ryan estimates. The poorest fifth will save $132. Wealthier households save more mainly because they buy more fuel.
