
US Accused of Unfairly Sending Migrants to Africa
Human Rights Watch, a group tracking abuses, accused the US on 8 October 2026 of sending over 500 migrants against the law to African countries not their home since Donald Trump returned in 2025. Citing US data, it said suffering is used to scare others. Homeland Security says those removed are the 'most dangerous criminal illegal aliens.'
