Police Say Searches of Andrew's Homes Were Not Legal

Thames Valley Police said court orders allowing searches of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor's homes were not legal and must be thrown out. At a London High Court hearing reported 8 October 2026, judge Nicholas Hilliard said police made a 'significant error' by using the wrong rules for searches in Windsor and Sandringham.
