Spotify Now Sells the Tools It Uses to Run Spotify

Spotify launched technology.spotify.com on Oct. 8, 2026 as Spotify Technology, offering other companies and software makers the behind-the-scenes software it built to run its own service, much like selling its kitchen tools. The set includes Backstage, Confidence, Portal and Xirp, tested serving 777 million monthly users. No prices listed; buyers must contact sales.
