Spotify Sells Its Internal Developer Tools to Other Companies

Spotify opened technology.spotify.com on Oct. 8, 2026 under the name Spotify Technology, selling tools it built for its own engineers to other businesses and developers. The lineup includes Backstage, Confidence, Portal and Xirp, systems proven serving 777 million monthly users. Prices were not listed; interested buyers must contact sales.
