Bear Kills Man Inside Tent Home Near Ulaanbaatar

A bear entered a lived-in ger, a tent-like home, in Bayanzurkh district near Ulaanbaatar overnight Wednesday, killing a man in his 40s, Mongolian police said. A woman in her 50s escaped to get neighbours and is seriously ill in hospital. Rangers are searching for the bear; officials urged caution and reporting sightings.
