Rivian R2 Lets You Check on Your Pet From Your Phone

R2 owners can now check on pets left in the car. Rivian's 2026.36 software update adds Pet Cam, showing sharp video from a camera inside the car on the phone app, even on the lock screen. Choose nonstop video or still photos that refresh to use less data. It works with Pet Comfort Mode, which keeps cooling or heating on.
