Party leaders spend a lot of time campaigning in Auckland

Party leaders are spending a lot of campaign time in Auckland ahead of the 7 November election, RNZ reported. About one in three New Zealanders lives there. Labour leader Chris Hipkins said Labour did worse in Auckland than it hoped at the last election, when seats it normally wins went to National or nearly did in 2023.
