Senior Welsh Green Quits Over Vote Calling Zionism Racism

Phil Davies, former deputy head of the Greens in Wales, said he has quit after seven years.

He said a weekend vote calling Zionism — support for a Jewish homeland — racism had hastened his decision. He told BBC Radio Wales Breakfast the vote was 'imperialistic' and 'idiotic' and would do nothing to improve lives in Palestine.
