Australia Checks Privacy of Kmart Camera Glasses App

Australia’s top privacy official, Carly Kind, is looking into Shenzhen Qingcheng, the Chinese company that makes the HeyCyan phone program used with Kmart’s $89 Anko glasses with a built-in camera. She acted after the company ignored her questions about outside safety checks and its data-use rules. The attorney-general had asked her to take a look.
