Australia opens privacy probe into Chinese maker of Kmart smartglasses app

Australia's Privacy Commissioner Carly Kind has opened an investigation into Shenzhen Qingcheng, the China-based developer of the HeyCyan app paired with Kmart's $89 Anko camera glasses. Kind announced the probe after the company failed to respond to inquiries, citing third-party analysis and its privacy policy. The attorney-general had requested an assessment.
