Hackers break into Asos app to send shoppers blackmail note

On October 6, hackers broke into Asos's alert system and sent UK shoppers a blackmail note meant for its privacy and computer staff. It said Asos's Snowflake storage, like rented space for holding information, was fully broken into and threatened to release stolen information unless Asos replied, linking to a Telegram chat group said to be run by Xuanye Group.
