Soldiers Knock Down University Memorial to 38 Students

Israeli soldiers pushed into Birzeit University near Ramallah at dawn Oct. 5 with 10 army vehicles and knocked down the Martyrs' Monument, a stone listing 38 students killed by Israel. The university said, like a schoolyard should be off-limits, this breaks global rules for protecting schools. Whether those rules can stop raids is still unclear.
