Giovanna Lancellotti to star as Carmen Miranda in bilingual biopic Carmen

Giovanna Lancellotti will play Carmen Miranda and produce 'Carmen,' a Portuguese- and English-language biopic directed by Esmir Filho from a screenplay by Mariana Bardan and Eduardo Melo, Variety reported. It will be unveiled on Oct. 7 at RioMarket, the business section of the Rio Film Festival, Variety reported.
