Alcaraz beats Lehecka to defend Japan Open title

Carlos Alcaraz defended his Japan Open title in Tokyo on 6 October, beating world No. 19 Jiri Lehecka 7-6, 6-4. Alcaraz won five points in a row from 2-4 in the tie-break, then broke in game seven of the second. It was his first individual title since February, in his third event back after four-and-a-half months out with wrist injury.
